Twenty-eight Years of Caring, Sharing, Listening & Healing
Psychologist Harris B. Stratyner, Ph.D., Concludes “Here’s to your Good Health” Radio Program on WFAS Radio after Twenty-Eight Years
Anyone who was within earshot of WFAS AM 1230, Westchester County’s hometown radio station, knew of Psychologist Harris B. Stratyner, Ph.D. His unmistakably mellifluous voice, measured cadence and erudite observations made his Saturday morning program a staple, and unlike anyone else’s on radio. Now Dr. Stratyner has decided to conclude his highly successful, “Here’s to Your Good Health” radio program after 28 years.
As a psychotherapist, he has had immeasurable impact on myriad lives, and helped countless clients to conquer addiction and lead productive, happy lives. As a radio host, he melded smooth jazz with upbeat conversation while imparting invaluable information about everything from cancer screening to drunk driving.
Dr. Stratyner is circumspect about his years on air, grateful for the opportunity to have shared his insights, and was enthusiastic about reaching out to a loyal audience with his special brand of jazz, talk, and celebrity interviews. It’s was a labor of love (he did it all gratis).
Dr. Stratyner’s “Here’s to Your Good Health” program was a full hour of an eclectic, informative, and insightful program. Dr. Stratyner is thankful for all of his loyal listeners who tuned into his program over these past 28 years.
